Most of us are attached to our cell phone, even on vacation. Your cell phone allows you keep in touch with family and friends and even helps you make them a little jealous that you are relaxing on a beach somewhere! However, when traveling overseas, your cell phone may be unusable. And if it does work, it could end up being extremely costly for you because of the “roaming” rates. Check with your service provider to see if you will be able to use your cell phone and if so, what your rate (price per minute) will be, if there are any other fees (roaming), and if they have international service plan options available.
