For example: visiting St. Mark’s Basilica, Doges Palace, The Bridge of Sighs, and the Gallerie dell’Accademia. There are also many opportunities to ride in a gondola in one of the many canals, which is fun for all ages. The water level in Venice is increasing, so unfortunately, the strand of islands will be underwater in the years to come.

Madagascar: Forests and Greenery Everywhere

Forests in Madagascar are threatened by the constant logging and burning which is quickly destroying the resources. The majority of the greenery and botanicals in Madagascar are native to the land. Most of them have never been studied before. Madagascar is a great place that is rich with history, architecture, and culture. There are many palaces and churches to visit. The Ranomafana National Park is Madagascar’s most familiar park. This park has more wildlife the farther you go from the tourist stops. Another great park to visit is the Isalo National Park, which is home to some of the most breathtaking scenery as well as being a sacred place for the Bara tribe.

Florida Everglades: National Park Treasure

Florida’s infamous Everglades are home to many animals and wetlands. The wetlands are at risk by pollution from farming as well as invasive species. The size of the Everglades is diminishing quickly, and is now an endangered place. The national park is only about half the size as it was 100 years ago. There are lots of fun things to do at the Florida Everglades. Some activities include gator and mangrove tours, the Waterway Trail, and the Everglades Safari Park. The Everglades National Park is in close proximity to the Miami, Florida area.
