Travel to Japan for remarkable experiences. Whether you choose to travel in the spring, summer, fall, or winter, Japan has something to offer everyone. You are in for an experience of a lifetime.
Tokyo is Japan’s capital and the world’s most populated city. Tokyo has much to offer visitors including shopping, entertainment, culture, and dinning. It has many museums, temples, and gardens. Tokyo has several districts: Central Tokyo, Northern Tokyo, Western Tokyo, and Southern Tokyo. Don’t forget the outlying areas of Tokyo where you will find Tokyo Disney Sea and Tokyo Disneyland.
Nikko is the town at the entrance to Nikko National Park. Nikko is commonly visited as a day trip from Tokyo. Nikko National Park offers mountainous landscapes, lakes, waterfalls, hot springs, and hiking trails. There is a famous saying that translates to “Don’t say magnificent until you’ve seen Nikko.”
Takayama is a city located in the mountain Hida region. It is a favorite place for travelers who are looking for something rural on their trip. Takayama is famous for its ramen noodles which are cooked in miso stock with thin noodles.
Matsumoto Castle is one of the most beautiful of Japan’s castles. This castle looks mighty because of the black wainscoting and structure. In the spring, the castle is a popular cherry blossom spot. Here you can see hundreds of cherry trees in full bloom around mid-April.
Hakone is part of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. It’s famous for hot springs and a view of nearby Mt. Fuji. Hakone is well-known as a holiday resort. Other spots to visit here is Lake Ashi-no-ko (a lake in a crater of the Hakone Volcano), the stone Buddha, and Stone towers in Moto-Hakone.
