When most people think of an “all-inclusive” vacation, their minds go straight to Sandals Resorts. They have great amenities, tons of locations, and Michael Scott loves em! But they’re not the only company out there when it comes to an all-inclusive getaway. AMResorts is an all-inclusive company that has a wide array of resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, Jamaica, and Europe. They may be lesser known, but they certainly do not lack in any other category. Here at AurTravel, we’ve had the great opportunity to stay at locations from both companies and we just wanted to share some info about some of the lesser known, but equally extraordinary (if not superior in some aspects), AMResorts locations.

Zoëtry resorts are categorized as adult-oriented, meaning that kids are welcome, but they won’t have as many kid-friendly activities to entertain your little ones. These resorts would be better suited for families with older children. View all Zoëtry resorts.

Secrets resorts are the ideal location for destination weddings, honeymoons, or anniversaries. They are all adult-only resorts with a particularly romantic, relaxing vibe. View all Secrets resorts.

Breathless is another branch of adult-only properties but they have more of a night-life/party environment. Any of these resorts would be the perfect location for a fun girl’s trip getaway or any trip you’d like to take with a bigger group of friends where you’ll find lots of group activities to entertain yourselves. Dreams resorts are all family-friendly with plenty of activities to entertain parents and kids alike. They offer different daily activities for your kiddos from ages 3-17 so you can go relax at the spa and know they’re being taken care of. They also offer babysitting services at certain resorts for an additional fee. View all Dreams resorts.

Now is another brand of family-friendly resorts. They offer the Explorer’s Club for Kids (age 3-12) and the Core Zone for Teens (age 13-17) at every resort (with the exception of Now Jade Riviera Cancun). With tons of activities for your kids, you know they’ll be taken care of while you’re enjoying some alone time. They also offer baby-sitting services for an additional fee. View all Now resorts.

Reflect resorts are branded for the “spirited” travelers, so if you’re looking for more of an active vacation, this is the way to go. Reflect properties are also family-friendly and offer day-time activities for your young kids. They also offer active activities for the whole family including Family Fit Bootcamp or parent-child yoga classes. View all Reflect resorts.

Sunscape resorts are probably the most family-friendly properties of all the AMResorts locations. They have a current offer where two kids stay free when you have two adults on the reservation. Every Sunscape resort has a kids and teens club that offers tons of activities like arts and crafts, exploring science and nature, and social events. View all Sunscape resorts.

Alua hotels & resorts are a little different from the rest of the AMResorts family. All of their properties are in Spain and they range from adult-only to family-friendly. They still offer all the great amenities and views of every other AMResorts; they’re just a little further away. All of these stunning resorts are 4 stars or higher. View all Alua resorts.

You can’t go wrong with any of these incredible resorts and from personal experience, I cannot recommend them enough. I would also highly suggest looking into getting a spa package during your stay, even if it’s just to sit in one of the cleansing steam rooms and relax by the tranquil spa pool. Whenever you’re ready to book your next relaxing getaway, don’t forget about AMResorts! Give AurTravel a call at 402.891.6909 and let us help you pick the perfect resort!

Growing up in a small Texas town, Rebekah always had the desire to travel and discover as much of the world as possible. After high school, she took her chance. Rebekah joined a performing arts group based out of southern California called The Young Americans. She had the opportunity to perform, teach, and mentor young kids all around the world. With this group Rebekah was able to travel to 11 different countries. She also met her husband while performing with this group and eventually they settled down in Nebraska, but they still love to travel together any chance they get. So far their favorite places are Riviera Maya, Mexico and Northern Michigan, but they still have a few big ticket bucket list items they’d like to mark off their list including: New Zealand, Hawaii, and Scotland. Rebekah is also a huge animal lover and an avid Harry Potter fan. She is the newest addition to the AurTravel team and so happy to be here.
