Here are some destinations to visit in Northern Ireland.
If you only go to Belfast for one reason, do it for Titanic. Titanic was built in Belfast and today there is a plethora of activities surrounding the Titanic you can take part in. Visit the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience, taste the last menu served aboard the Titanic at the Rayanne House, and pay your respects to the lives lost at the Titanic Memorial Garden.
This little village has a lot to offer. Visit Dunluce Castle, one of the most photographed landmarks in Northern Ireland. Take a tour of Ireland’s oldest working distillery, The Old Bushmills Distillery. Walk along the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Property made up of 40,000 massive black basalt columns sticking out of the sea.
This small seaside town is home to one of the oldest golf courses in Ireland. The Royal County Down Golf Club offers golfers two courses, the Championship Links and the Annesley Links. Both are full of magnificent views of sea, mountains, and dunes. When you are done golfing, spend some time swimming and sunbathing at Newcastle Beach.
This Northern Ireland destination is full of historical activities. Visit Enniskillen Castle, which has a history museum and a gallery with military artifacts. Spend time at The Headhunters Barber Shop & Railway Museum to view one of the largest collections of Irish railway memorabilia on display. Ride the ferry to Devenish Island Monastic Site to see ruins from many different time periods.
